Lambda Chi Alpha's teachings follow our primary symbol, the Cross and Crescent. It denotes pursuing that which is 'pure, high, and evergrowing', perfection. While we cannot become perfect, members of Lambda Chi Alpha desire to better themselves and society in any way they can.

 

In this pursuit, members learn about our Core Values, which align with those of the U.S. National Guard. They are embodied in an acronym for leadership:

Duty demands we maintain our obligations.

 

Respect speaks to holding consideration of others' dignity.

 

Service and Stewardship describes service to others and proper management of ourselves for the sake of others.

Integrity details maintaining a consistent personal moral code.

 

Personal Courage discusses perservering through troubles to better oneself.
