Philanthropy
One of the major facets of fraternity life is helping those in need. Lambda Chi's participate in a variety of groups for societal good. Alongside individual service projects and campus groups, Simpson's Lambda Chi's help the community with these organizations:
Feeding America is the largest food philanthropy in the United States. In 2013, Lambda Chi Alpha raised 1.5 million pounds of food nationally for Feeding America. Our chapter contributed almost eighty thousand pounds to the cause. We host food drives and collect goods outside of grocery stores in Indianola and Des Moines.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation helps those with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Our Teeter-Totter-a-Thon helps brings attention to cystic fibrosis while being fun for participants and observers alike.
